Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the Comic Mania Android app ("the app", "we") does with information. It is published by the developer, reachable at angrybug786@gmail.com.
Information that stays on your device
The following is stored only on your phone and is never sent to us:
- Your library, reading history and reading progress
- Downloaded chapters and cached images
- Your app settings and preferences
- Cookies and site data saved by the built-in browser for the websites you visit
Backups you create in Settings are saved as a file wherever you choose. We never receive them.
Information sent to us
The app uses Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) as its server. It sends the following:

Everything is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Nothing you send is visible to other users.
What we don't do
- We don't require or offer accounts or sign-in.
- We don't collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, location or device identifiers.
- We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.
- We don't sell or share your information with anyone, other than Google Firebase, which stores it on our behalf.
Websites you visit
Comic Mania includes a web browser. The websites you open are run by third parties who aren't affiliated with us, and their own privacy policies and terms apply. We don't host, own or control their content. The app blocks many ads and pop-ups on those sites and turns off third-party cookies, but it can't control what a website itself collects.
New chapter alerts
If you turn on alerts, the app checks the series in your library for new chapters in the background by contacting those websites directly from your phone. Notifications are created on your device; we don't send them and we don't learn what's in your library.
Retention and deletion
Reading problem reports are deleted once the problem is fixed. Feedback is kept for as long as it's useful for improving the app. Because we don't collect anything that identifies you, we usually can't link a message to a person. To have something you sent deleted, email us with what you sent and roughly when, and we'll remove it. To delete everything stored on your phone, uninstall the app or clear its data in Android settings.
Children
Comic Mania isn't intended for children, and its built-in browser gives unrestricted access to the web. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
